Tortoiseshells, Painted Ladies, Peacocks, Red Admirals, Ringlets, Commas and many more are species we get in our garden. Butterflies are one of my favourite insects. Yesterday I captured on camera this Tortoiseshell, the colours were particularly vivid on this one.
Gorgeous butterfly, and nice pictures, you must have a good zoom on your camera? I love butterflies too.

Butterflies are so beautiful, I just love watching them, their long curly tongue going down into the flowers and their magnificent wings, they’re just stunning creations.
